Privacy policy

Vibe Days is a period tracker. This policy explains what happens to the information you enter in the app. The short version: it stays on your phone.
Your data stays on your phone
Everything you log is stored only on your phone. Nothing is sent anywhere: there is no account, no ads and no tracking, and the app works without an internet connection.
This covers everything you enter: your periods, the flow, mood, symptoms, energy, discharge, intimacy, sleep, hot flashes, night sweats and medications you log for a day, your list of medications and supplements, your notes, your reminders, and your settings.
What we collect
Nothing. The app has no server, so we never receive your data and can't see, share or sell it. The app doesn't use analytics, crash reporting or advertising services, and it doesn't ask for your name, email address or location.
Reminders
Reminders are notifications that the app schedules on your phone itself. No server is involved, and nothing is sent anywhere to deliver them. The app asks for permission to send notifications only when you turn on a reminder.
By default, a reminder on your lock screen only says "Vibe Days reminder", so nothing about your cycle shows to someone glancing at your phone. You can choose to show the reminder's own text under Settings, Reminders.
Backups and exports you make
You can export your data from the app, under Settings, Backup and restore. The file is made on your phone and handed to your phone's share sheet: you decide where it goes, for example to Files or your own cloud drive. It isn't sent to us.
- Encrypted backup: everything you've logged, your reminders and your settings, encrypted on your phone (AES-256) with a key made from your passphrase. Without the passphrase, the file can't be read, by us or anyone else. That also means a forgotten passphrase can't be recovered. The optional hint is not encrypted, so it shouldn't give the passphrase away.
- Spreadsheet: your history as an Excel file, for example to share with your doctor. It is not encrypted: anyone who gets the file can read everything in it. The app reminds you of this before you share it.
Restoring a backup happens on your phone too: the app reads the file you choose, and nothing is sent anywhere.
Your phone's own backups
If you have enabled your phone's system backup (iCloud on iPhone or Google backup on Android), some of the app's data may be included in those backups, depending on your device settings and our app's backup configuration. These backups are managed by Apple or Google under your account. Vibe Days does not operate, access, or control these backups.
Deleting your data
You can change or delete anything you logged in the app. Deleting the app removes all of its data from your phone. Vibe Days keeps no copy of its own, so this can't be undone from the app. Backup and spreadsheet files you exported stay wherever you saved them, and a copy may remain in your phone's system backup, if it included the app's data; you can manage or delete those backups in your iCloud or Google account settings.
This website
This website uses no cookies, analytics or tracking. The search on the Support page runs in your browser: what you type isn't sent anywhere. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages: like any web host, Cloudflare handles your IP address to deliver the pages and protect the site from attacks. We don't use that to identify you.
Children
The app doesn't collect any personal data from anyone, children included.
Changes to this policy
If the app ever changes how it handles data, this page will be updated first, with a new date at the top.
